For over 20 years, MFS (formerly GEOD) has maintained an On-Call Serices Contract to provide surveying and mapping services for the Port Authority of New York k& New Jersey at their various Facilites located throughout both states. Our current contract includes the preparation of new orthophotography, DEM & vector mapping of approach paths, surface obstruction analysis of over 150 square miles, updating of existing facilities mapping and runway profiles of LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York, as well as ongoing daily construction survey support at the World Trade Center Construction sites in Manhattan.
Under pier on-call contracts with the Port Authority, MFS (formerly GEOD) has provided both updates to existing mapping and new mapping from orthophotography for the approaches to the George Washington Bridge, the Holland Tunnel, and for multiple airports (JFK, Stewart, Newark & Teterboro). MFS also performed mapping of PATH lines from Newark to Hoboken and Jersey City, and a surface obstruction analysis to 106 square miles for Stewart Airport.
