GEOD was established in 1961 as an aerial mapping and land surveying firm, and over several decades, we’ve expanded our services to include new technologies as they emerged, including utility mark-outs utilizing ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic scopes (EM-scope), as well as 3d high definition laser scanning services (3D HDS). We've integrated low altitude mapping and photogrammetry (LAMP) and aerial LiDAR, keeping us at the forefront of new developments in the world of aerial mapping. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s / drones) and mobile LiDAR technologies are the new frontier for surveying and mapping. GEOD will be incorporating these technologies as part of our mission to provide our clients with the most advanced and cost-effective methods of data collection.
